Returns resulting from poor assembly and initial set-up of the bicycle may incur charges for shipping and collection costs incurred and possible damage to the bicycle. The warranty does not cover defects resulting from misuse or poor maintenance of the bicycle and its electronic components.

of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. You may use the model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

1. You have 30 calendar days to return your purchase you can get a full refund.

2. You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The
cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third
party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last
good.

3. We will bear the cost of returning the goods. In case of receiving a damaged, defective or wrong product you can opt for a refund or exchange (always for the same product), in this case Capribikes will bear all the costs of transport and management, it is essential to submit a photo. To proceed with the return use our return request form 

3. Once the product has been received at our warehouse and its condition has been verified, the amount paid at the time of purchase will be credited. If there is any damage, it will be assessed and the customer will be informed before payment.

5. If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

In order to correctly process the return of a bicycle you should take into account the following instructions.

As indicated in the user manual, the bicycle has safety features to ensure that possible damage during transport is minimised in the event of return. It's very important you keep the original packaging and protective elements for -at least- the first 30 calendar days. It is always necessary to keep these protective elements to ensure that the bicycle is not damaged on its return to our warehouse.

Once we receive the bicycle, our technician will assess whether it has been damaged and evaluate it on a case-by-case basis. If it has not been damaged, and the bicycle is ok, you will be reimbursed the full amount paid for the bicycle at the time of purchase.

If it has been damaged, it will be assessed, documented and, depending on the severity of the damage, you may receive a partial refund of the amount paid at the time of purchase.

Make sure that no part of the bicycle is loose (e.g. saddle, pedals, handlebars) in order to prevent the bicycle from being knocked during transport. Use straps to make sure there are no loose pieces (blue signals in the next pictures) and foam (black signals in the next pictures) to protect the bike you want to return.

The refund will be made once we receive the items at our facilities. You will receive the refund in the same payment method you used for your purchase.  The amount may take up to 15 days to be reflected in your account, depending on your bank.

All products sold from 1 January 2022 onwards in Spain, are covered by a three-year legal guarantee against non-conformity, in accordance with the provisions of RD Law 7/2021 of 27 April, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users. For third party sales, the warranty period may vary depending on the laws of each country.

For products purchased prior to that date, or out of Spain the legal warranty period is two years from the time of delivery and shall apply, in relation to the legal guarantee and its exercise, the provisions of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users in its wording prior to the amendments introduced by RD 1/2007, of 16 November. Capri Bikes will not accept any responsibility if the manufacturer of the product does not consider the guarantee applicable to the product claimed.

Remember to always follow the usual maintenance advice in order to make effective use of your warranty.

Capri bikes guarantees its bicycles against any manufacturing or assembly defect, covering the replacement of parts recognised as defective or their repair under the following conditions:

- Duration: 2 years against manufacturing and assembly defects. For third party sales, the warranty period may vary depending on the laws of each country.

- During this period, the holder of the guarantee shall be entitled to free repair of the original defects, including transport expenses.

- This guarantee does not affect the consumer's rights under the legislation in force in each country.

The application of the warranty will always be dealt with in the country of original shipment.

The warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the bicycle, who must provide proof of purchase, and the country where the shipping was made.

The inclusion of a defective bicycle or part in the warranty conditions is ultimately subject to the decision of our Technical Service.

A repair or replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty period.

Under no circumstances does the warranty cover the replacement of parts whose wear and tear results from normal use of the bicycle.

These items are the following, this list being merely enunciative and not limitative in any case.

Items excluded from warranty

O-rings, Cups, Bearings, Brake pads, Threads, Sprockets, Grips and bands, chain, Screws, Rubber parts (Tyres and tubes), Saddle, Shift and brake cables and casings, Spokes and nipples, ebike batteries*.

-In the case of batteries, the warranty will be applied in accordance with the applicable European warranty legislation

- The loss of autonomy of the battery, as a consequence of its ageing, is not a manufacturing defect, as it is an inherent behaviour of the properties of lithium. Therefore, the warranty will only apply in the event that the loss of autonomy is below 70%. In the event that the user/point of sale requires Capri Bikes to carry out an autonomy test on a battery, and the report generated by said test shows a result equal to or greater than 70%, the former shall bear the costs generated by the performance of said test, as well as the derived shipping costs, if applicable.

- The guarantee does not apply in any case to breakage or defects resulting from negligent use of the bicycle, use in competition, assembly of non-original accessories, or improper handling and maintenance operations. The user must maintain the product purchased in good condition in accordance with the instructions and recommendations given in the the manuals published on the website, and Capri bikes and Biciclasica may reject warranty claims that are directly due to a defect in the maintenance of the product by the user.

- This warranty refers only to the replacement of defective components, and does not cover in any case personal injury that may arise directly or indirectly from the failure of the same during use. In the event of a traffic accident, regardless of the direct cause of the accident, the Capri bikes warranty is completely void.

- The warranty does not apply in any case to the components of the electrical system that have been disassembled or have undergone modifications to alter their functions without the prior authorization of Capri bikes.

- In the event that the repair carried out is not satisfactory, and the object does not meet the optimum conditions to comply with the use for which it was intended, the holder of the guarantee will be entitled to the replacement of the defective component, for another of identical characteristics, or to the refund of the price paid for the damaged component.

- Damage caused by incorrect adjustment of parts, or the maladjustment of parts such as the transmission, brakes, etc. caused by the use of the bicycle, is excluded from the guarantee.
