For this 2023 CAPRI Metz & Azur generation we partnered with the amazing Taiwanese company Lasco, founded in 1978 by a group of young cyclists are still a small company doing great products.

The crankset made entirely on aluminium has a chain protector perfect to ensure you will not get dirty on your daily trips, and the best of all it avoids the noises related to the chain movements.

Lasco crankset has a size of 170mm with 44 teeth, if you feel is not the size for you we can check other available measures.

It may be a not very important part of your bike, but if you really use the bike and bring bags or any kind of extra weight, you may have noticed how important it is, and the quality and endurance of this part affects how you enjoy your bike over the years.

For this 2023 CAPRI eBikes we partnered with the Swiss manufacturer Pletscher, and excellent producer of biek stands with very high quality low weight and nice design.

Another European producer we incorporated to reduce the carbon footprint while improving the quality of our eBikes.

New Aluminium direction.

Battery plays an important role in the performance of the ebike, so we been working since 2021 on the development of our new version of our patented battery.

The new battery (36V 6,8Ah 248,4Wh) was already delivered on last productions for the previous METZ and AZUR versions since may 2022, so we are happy with the modifications and performance over the time.

The new BMS (Battery management system enables the delivery of targeted range of voltage and current for a duration of time against expected load scenarios.) has been modified to maximize the live of the battery while keeping a good power delivery.

The case is slightly bigger than the 1st generation but has also more resistance to impacts and temperature exposure, equipped with IP6 water resistant connector is ready for any rainy day.

This 2nd generation of our patented battery comes with a high speed charger with a dock station included.

And last but not least, the battery mounts the best in class Li-ion cells from SAMSUNG, one of the most reliable, efficient and high quality cells in the market.

One of our more acclaimed design aspects from our 1st generation ebikes was the compact motor.

it was a great motor, but the new one is better,  it may not be as shinny and beautiful, but is much more reliable and efficient.

Now equipped with a BAFANG rear hub brushless motor that delivers 250W has demonstrated is one of the highest quality motors in the market, Bafang is one of the global industry leaders and his motors have a failure rate near to zero.

The electrical system of an ebike, is not only the motor and the battery, there are other elements that need to perform perfectly.

We equipped this last generation of CAPRI eBikes with the best in class motor controller, and we optimized to ensure it delivers the right power to your bike when you need it,

We adjusted the speed management based on our average customers requirements and we split the 5 levels of assistance more balanced, so you get the power you need more quickly and precisely, it really works smoothly.

We also include a new display to control with your fingers easily the levels of assistance you need with no issues, easy and minimal to avoid big unnecessary screens.

We strongly believe on free from apps life, you may use apps for many things in your life, but this has not need to be mandatory if you want to enjoy your bike.

From factory to your door, as a Direct to Consumer company we are on fully control of the procurement,, manufacturing and transportation, we analyze product environmental impacts in each life cycle.

The average carbon footprint for our ebike is 200 Kg. Around 75% of CO2 emissions are produced by materials and manufacturing, around 15% during actual use of the eBike, and the remaining 10% or so during transport, packaging and recycling. 

We do have a strong commitment to produce our bikes in local, with the nearest possible produced componentes, we are continuously under development to reduce the carbon footprint for every stage of the process.

Our aim is to be a fully Carbon Neutral Company by June 2023 with in place reforestation programs to compensate the carbon footprint we generate.
